Robert Crosse is a graduate of Slade School of Fine Art and Arts University College Bournemouth. As part of his residency at Bermondsey’s Woodmill GP, he received a grant from the Bermondsey Square Community Fund in 2013 to make a film about Millwall FC, and all the various roles that go into creating a match.
The resulting film, Home Advantage, looks all aspects of the game except the football itself. The film conveys the feeling and atmosphere of being a spectator, without the use of speech or interviews by focusing on specific features and sounds created in and around the stadium.
