Local residents Ali Turnham and Sharon John held their first night market in Bermondsey Square in 2011. Combining craft stalls; street food and live entertainment, TheStockMKT now pops-up in locations across London as well as being a regular feature in Bermondsey Square.
TheStockMKT won the ATCM’s 2013 ‘Best Night-Time Economy Project’ Award, in partnership with Kingstonfirst.
About Bermondsey Square Community Fund
The Bermondsey Square Trust collects money from the occupiers and owners of Bermondsey Square through the occupiers’ leases and grants awards for ‘The marketing animation and promotion of the Bermondsey Square Estate and making a positive contribution to the wider neighbourhood and community of Bermondsey.’
