When: Sunday 16th July
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Where: Bermondsey Square, Tower Bridge Road, Bermondsey, London
For the first time, the Festival of Wellbeing is coming to South London to celebrate the power of healthy life choices and complementary therapies alongside traditional medicine and treatments. The event is supported by a grant from the Bermondsey Square Community Fund and all money raised will go to local charity, Dimbleby Cancer Care.
There are free activities for all ages and for those in need of some enlightenment, there will be yoga, mindfulness and meditation taster sessions as well as workshops in head massage and aromatherapy.
For children, there’ll also be a dance workshop and the lovely ladies from the Borough Belle’s will be there to supply the tea and cakes as well as a lot of local stores with food demonstrations.
All money raised will go towards local cancer care charity, Dimbleby Cancer Care which provides practical and psychological support to people living with cancer and to their families and carers and is also developing a website resource to help people find care and support services nearest to them which is due to be launched later this month.
